Sautéed Baby Bok Choy
I have always had bok choy with My Chinese takeout vegetables, but never attempted to make it at home. One day, I came across baby bok choy at the grocery store and decided to give it a whirl. Needless to say, it’s now a must pick up when I see it in the grocery store! It turned out pretty delicious so, here’s the recipe below:
Ingredients:
2 TBSP minced garlic
2 TBSP olive oil
1/4 cup of chicken broth
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 small shallot chopped
Toasted sliced almonds (optional)
6 baby bok choy
1 TBSP lemon juice
Directions:
In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat. Add in shallot and garlic and sauté for 1 min. Add in bok choy and let sit for 1 min in pan without stirring. Add in lemon juice. Then, stir and add in add in seasonings and salt and pepper. Then, add in chicken broth and cook for about 3 mins. Stir and toss with toasted almonds and enjoy!
