Fan-favorite Pico de Gallo
This stuff is a HIT every single time! Everyone is always so surprised by how delicious it is and surprised that something so fresh and easy can have so much flavor. It really is so good! You can put it in salads, on top of chicken, eat it straight out of the bowl, and of course, with your favorite tortilla chips! This recipe can differ on what your tastebuds prefer. I recommend that you taste as you go and tweak the seasonings to your liking! The cilantro really pulls everything together, in my opinion.
•8-10 Roma tomatoes, seeds removed and diced
• Half of a white onion, finely diced
• Juice of 1 lime
•Salt to taste
•1 Jalapeño, finely diced (keep seeds if you like a more spicy version, or omit if you want mild)
•1 to 2 TBSP minced garlic or garlic powder
•Fresh cilantro - chopped , add as much as your taste buds like
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix!
Stays fresh for about 2-3 days covered in refrigerator.
