Blackened Shrimp Alfredo
Warning: This is a very rich, cheesy, and not healthy dish! But, life is all about balance. So, get in the kitchen and let’s make an absolutely delicious dish!
Ingredients:
1pint heavy cream
20 raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
Blackened seasoning of your choice
4 TBSP butter
6oz shredded Parmesan cheese
8oz pasta of your choice
2TBSP chopped garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook pasta al dente in a large pot with salted water. Drain and set aside. In a large deep skillet, melt the butter in medium heat. Once melted, add the garlic and cook for 1min. Coat shrimp in blackened seasoning. Once coated, place shrimp in skillet and cook for 1-2 mins on each side. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside. In the same skillet, on medium heat, add heavy cream and stir. Cook about 5mins constantly stirring until thickened And coats back of a spoon. Once thickened, pour Parmesan in the heavy cream and stir constantly until melted and mixed in with cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add shrimp and pasta to the sauce and mix until shrimp and pasta are coated with sauce. Cook for 1 min and it is now ready to enjoy! Place over a bed of spinach or add broccoli if you please.
